Management and processing of personal data at ZUŠ Česká Lípa

On May 25, 2018, the new General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR), i.e. Regulation (EU) 2016/679 of the European Parliament and of the Council of April 27, 2016 on the protection of natural persons with regard to the processing of personal data and on free movement, enters into force of this data and on the repeal of Directive 95/46/EC, the purpose of which is to create consistent data protection rules within the European Union.

We manage and process personal data at ZUŠ Česká Lípa in accordance with the GDPR only on the basis of legal regulations or on the basis of the consent of the data subject (pupil, legal representative of the pupil, school employee).

The processing of personal data may also be based on the public interest or in the exercise of public authority.

The consent of the data subject (legal representative of the pupil, school employee) must be informed, specific and in writing, and the personal data administrator is obliged to obtain it before starting the processing of personal data, and is also obliged to prove it throughout the processing period. Consent to the processing of personal data is issued by the student's legal representative or an adult student.

Personal data

Personal data processed on the basis of §22, §28, §29 and §49 of the School Act No. 561/2004 Coll.

• school register,
• documents on the admission of pupils, on the course of education and its completion,
• classbook,
• records from pedagogical councils,
• accident book and records of children's injuries, or medical reports.

Personal data processed in the public interest or in the exercise of public authority.

• Transfer of data to state administration bodies (MŠMT, CŠI, regional office, founder).

Personal data processed on the basis of informed consent, which can be revoked without giving a reason.

• lists of pupils at extra-curricular events with a combination of essential data: name, surname, date of birth, address, school, class, subject, field of study, year, competition category,
• lists of pupils at competitions,
• lists of pupils with the indication of the health insurance company and health status for extracurricular activities,
• audio recording, video recording for the purpose of promoting the ZUŠ,
• photographs for the purpose of promoting the ZUS (e.g. school website, newspaper),
• publication of artistic and similar works of children at exhibitions,
• documents and other manifestations of the student's personal nature, used for the purpose of presentation, promotion and informing about the school's activities,
• publication of competition results on the ZUŠ website

Subjects and their legal representatives, whose personal data are processed by the school, can, if necessary, contact the "trustee" for the management of personal data.
